Idris Babatunde Adeyemi is a dedicated economist and researcher with a strong background in Islamic finance, financial analysis, and economic policy. With a bachelor's degree from Lagos State University, He is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the Social Science University of Ankara, Turkey, where he also completed his MSc in Islamic Economics and Finance with distinction. His research interests include the Islamic economic system, financial performance analysis, and developmental economics.
Professionally, Idris is currently working as a Consultant at Islamic Financial Advisory and Assurance Services (IFAAS), where he plays a key role in Researching and Shari’ah Auditing. His expertise extends to financial analysis, investment research, and economic policy in his previous roles. His contributions in these roles include market research, portfolio management, and statistical analysis for various financial and economic projects. He has also participated in international research initiatives, evaluating socio-economic performance across different economies. 
Idris is also an active academic contributor with publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. His research spans topics such as fintech’s role in financial inclusion, risk management in Takaful, and the economic impact of digitalization in Africa. 
Beyond academia and consulting, he has a passion for community development, mentoring, and volunteering, making significant contributions to various Islamic finance and economic research initiatives.
