Why do they want to destroy Gazza?

Since 1917, beginning with the British and continuing with the United States, Palestinians have been regarded as prisoners by world powers. That year, British General Allenby, along with Balfour, the minister of foreign affairs during that time, entered Jerusalem and announced his famous pledge to the Jews to establish a national homeland for them in Palestine.

The Palestinians have endured numerous setbacks as a result of the theft of their land, the eradication of their identity, and the violation of their sacred sites, most notably the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Palestinians realised that the only way to reclaim their territories and their places of worship was to wage war against Zionists and their supporters among the world’s major powers. The result was the establishment of the Palestinian Liberation Organisation under the leadership of Yassir Arafat. This platform passed through many stages from the sixties and seventies until the Oslo Accords, which made it a mere guardian soldier of the Jews in the West Bank in lieu of resistance and freedom. The organisation today has become solely a policeman coordinating with the Israeli occupation in managing the West Bank and Gaza, which are the areas that have remained for the Palestinians since the Nakba in 1948.

With this unfortunate circumstance, a new organisation was to be established by the Palestinians- the brigades of Izz al-Din al-Qassam, which were commanded by the paralysed Alsheikh Ahmet Yasin in 1987 and continue to this day with the aim of liberating the entire land of the Palatine and Al-Aqsa Mosque. In fact, due to the cooperation between the Palestinian Liberation Organisation under the leadership of Mahmud Abbas and Mahmud Dahlan, Hamas decided to expel them from Gazza in 2007.

Beginning in 2007, Gazza has been subjected to numerous barbarous military assaults by the Israeli army, which do not differentiate between civilians and military personnel or between children and women. As a result, Israel has murdered thousands of innocent people in Gaza on the world’s watch as well as making them suffer from the siege starvation, not allowing them to establish their own airport or seaport so that they are trapped there and not able to travel freely. In addition, Israel has been stealing Gazza’s natural gas resources in the Mediterranean and murdering and kidnapping tens of thousands of Palestinians in the West Bank. As a consequence of all this injustice, Hamas decided to take revenge and attack Israel on the 7th of October.

Due to the excruciating and disgraceful loss that Israel suffered as a result of this operation, which resulted in the deaths of 1200 soldiers, supporters of Israel from the United States and Western powers have realised that this victory may be courageous and increase the likelihood of liberating all of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Consequently, the United States has decided to support Israel by dispatching aircraft carriers loaded with various types of military ammunition as well as bombs that are being dropped on the heads of thousands of innocent Gazans, including women and children. There have been 5,500 deaths, and the number is rising. Even the United States announced that it will deploy approximately 2,200 soldiers to support Israel’s upcoming ground operations!

During this calamity, we learned the true objective of the Israeli-American assault on Gaza. US Secretary of State Blinken, who has come out to identify himself as proud to be Jewish, stated that safe corridors must be established in order for Israel to eliminate Hamas and other Islamists.

Many Israeli officials have also corroborated the claim that Israel is prepared to construct ten cities in Egyptian Sinai for Gazza’s people to live in temporarily. In exchange, Sisi’s government will be rewarded, and all Egyptian debts that threaten the Egyptian economy will be removed, making this a very intriguing deal. However, the metamorphosis of Gazza into Sinai poses a grave threat to the Palestinians, the Palestinian cause, and the Muslim ummah, which ranks Al-Aqsa Mosque as the third most significant mosque in Islam. Moreover, this is equally difficult for Egypt as a country.

Meanwhile, the replacement in Sinai will be viewed as the second Nakba for the Palestinians following 1948. It also means that European and Latin American Jews will populate Gazza and that Israel will be more potent than ever, crueller to Palestinians in the West Bank, and may even send them to Jordan or kill them. If this occurs, the destruction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque will be easy, and Israel will be able to construct the Jewish temple on the site. Such a situation cannot be tolerated by any Muslim because Al-Aqsa Mosque was the first qibla that the prophet Mohamed and his Companions turned to for 16 months. As the third of Islam’s two holy mosques, Al-Aqsa Mosque is as significant as The Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

For Egypt, the placement of the Gazza people will provide Israel with a pretext to intervene in Egyptian affairs, as Israel will claim that the Palestinians in Sinai pose a threat to Israeli security, and this will provide Israel with another opportunity to occupy Sinai. Thus, Israel will be able to kill multiple birds with one stone by occupying Gazza, seizing Al-Aqsa Mosque, putting an end to the Palestinian cause for good, and retaking Sinai in the future.

Due to this devilish plan, the Islamic ummah should be aware of and support Gazza in these complex events, as this American plan will not end with Palestine but will continue to include other nations, such as Egypt, Turkey, and Gulf states, to divide and weaken them, just as they did in Palestine, Libya, Yemen, Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq.
